What happens after you submit
We read what you sent and get back to you, usually within a couple of business days, to arrange a time to see the floors. We look at them in person, tell you what they need, and give you a real number. Requesting a quote puts you on the hook for nothing.
How we quote
The quote is free and there is no charge for the visit. We price the work the floor actually needs: if a recoat will do, a recoat is what we quote. If the job turns out bigger than you were expecting, we will explain why before anything gets booked.
What to have ready
- Roughly how many rooms, or the approximate square footage.
- How old the floors are, if you know, and whether they are solid or engineered.
- Whether the carpet is still down, or has just come up.
- Anything you have noticed: worn traffic paths, stains, gaps that do not close in summer, or boards lifting at the edges.
- Whether you want to keep the current colour or change it.
